Relief OS was built by Shaheer ul Azeem, founder of Digitales, a digital agency in Lahore.
Before Relief OS existed as a product, it existed as a custom platform built for a single NGO client — one that was running its entire operation on spreadsheets and WhatsApp.
That platform worked well enough that it became obvious the same problem existed everywhere: NGOs of every size, in every country, running critical operations on tools that were never built for the job. Relief OS is that platform, rebuilt as a product any NGO can use.
Relief OS exists so NGOs spend their time on impact, not admin — and so no charitable organization is priced or culturally excluded from software built to serve it properly.
Zakat, Sadaqah, Lillah, and Waqf are treated as first-class data in Relief OS, not a workaround — because the team building it understood, from the first client, that no mainstream platform handled Islamic giving properly. UK Gift Aid tracking sits in the same system, so an Islamic charity serving UK donors never needs a second platform to stay compliant.
